Off the Cuff: Seaholm Rover

Todd, like the people who buy Seaholm watches, is an outdoorsy man who likes to go fly fishing and play outside with his children. His customers are hunters, professional fishermen, hikers, campers, and even musicians who live on the road. These are lifestyles that demand that their watch be well-built and reliable. And most importantly, to be able to get serviced for a reasonable price anywhere in the world. This makes each Seaholm watch have to check may boxes and I’d argue that they do indeed check all of these boxes.

Off the Cuff: DuFrane Deep Eddy

Dufrane has made a habit of highlighting Austin, its history, and its surrounding area with their watches--the Bergstrom Air, the City Limits, and the aforementioned Barton Spring, are but a few. Founder Steven Lee has even chosen to hand assemble the timepieces in his adopted home. In the case of the Deep Eddy, that's an automatic Swiss movement and American assembly for under $500USD. Hard to beat.
